Platform Solutions

Solutions built, tested, and on the market on the 1health platform. Each one is composed of 1health capabilities. Whether you are building from scratch or adding one component to a system you already run, find your use case, or the one closest to it.

Lab orders

Order to result, any lab

Tests are ordered for a patient under an ordering physician, collected, and resulted, without an integration to each lab. The result comes back onto the patient record. Already using a lab vendor of your own? A workflow step can call it and write the order and result back to the same record.

What you build

The panels, the preparation rules, and the pricing.

Composed of
  • Lab ordering
  • Provider directory
  • Workflows
Included in every solutiondetails
  • Secure patient record: One patient record, HIPAA and SOC 2 Type II, shared by every app on the network.
  • Identity: Every person and organization acting on the record is known and verified.
  • Compliance: The agreements between organizations are in place before any data moves.
  • Consent: Who may see what, for how long, and for what purpose.
  • Audit trail: Every access to data, at rest and in transit, is recorded and defensible.

Clinical decision support

Referrals, consults, and expert opinion at scale

One expert's judgment, made available to every case that needs it. The expert can be a person, an agent working from that person's reasoning and knowledge, or both. A case is submitted to the expert's organization, routed by specialty, and returned with a cited opinion and recommended workup. Referrals and consults are functions of this solution: a referral is a case sent to another organization, and a consult is the opinion that comes back.

What you build

The expert's reasoning, plugged into the harness, and the knowledge it draws on.

Care transitions

Hospital to primary care

A patient is admitted or discharged. The primary care practice is notified through its preferred channel, receives the discharge record, and completes the follow-up and medication reconciliation on time. The same workflow serves the health plan coordinating it and the practice doing it.

What you build

The rules for who is contacted, when, and what counts as done.

Clinical system and record exchange

EHRs, practice systems, and specialty platforms

A clinical system is the system a care team works in every day: an EHR, a practice management system, a specialty clinic app such as a sleep clinic, a care-team workspace. If you are building one, you belong here. It keeps patient records in a compliant store, messages patients and other providers, and exchanges records with other organizations without email or fax, so both organizations end up on the same record. If you already have a messaging, scheduling, or prescribing tool, a workflow step connects to it.

What you build

The clinical interface and the specialty it serves.

Risk and quality

Measures, gaps, and the practices that close them

A health plan loads claims, fills, or charts onto member records. Practices are invited in. Care teams see only their members, what needs action, and record what they did. The measure is worked while there is still time to close it.

What you build

The measures, the cohort logic, and the view each practice needs.

Capabilities

The 1health capabilities that solutions are composed of. Each one composes with every other, and each can be swapped for a component you already have.

Data in and out

HL7, FHIR, ADT, fax, SFTP, claims, files

Any format the data lives in. In, normalized onto the record, and back out.

Workflows

Workflow Builder

Multi-step tasks that cross organizations. One instance per patient, a notification to whoever is up next, and a record of every step.

In every solution

Record exchange

Patient records and documents across organizations

The receiving organization works from the same record, not a copy. Every send and receive is recorded.

Lab ordering

LabLink

Catalog, order, requisition, and result across labs through one interface.

In Lab orders

Provider directory

NPI lookup and verification

Find and verify the provider or organization a workflow needs to reach. A component of solutions rather than a solution on its own.

In Care transitions, Clinical decision support, Lab orders, Clinical system

Messaging and notifications

Fax and text to providers today; patient messaging next

Notify a practice that its patient was admitted or discharged. Reach a patient or another provider from inside a workflow step.

In Care transitions, Clinical system

Bring your own component

If you already have a lab vendor, a messaging tool, or a scheduling system, keep it. A workflow step calls it and writes the result back to the patient record, so it runs inside the same real-time, cross-organization workflow as everything else.

Included in every solution

Every app on the network reads and writes the same patient record. Who is acting, what has been agreed, what may be seen, and what was touched are already enforced and recorded.

Secure patient record

One patient record, HIPAA and SOC 2 Type II, shared by every app on the network.

Identity

Every person and organization acting on the record is known and verified.

Compliance

The agreements between organizations are in place before any data moves.

Consent

Who may see what, for how long, and for what purpose.

Audit trail

Every access to data, at rest and in transit, is recorded and defensible.

The shared record

When a workflow carries the record across an organizational boundary with identity, compliance, consent, and audit in place, both organizations are working from the same record. There is nothing to reconcile afterward.

Ship once, reach the network

Apps built on 1health are discoverable and installable by any organization on the network. A new tenant turns your app on; it does not integrate it.

Build the workflow. 1health carries the rest.

Start with the record, compose the capabilities your solution needs, and ship to every organization on the network.
